Innovation and Entrepreneurship Society
Since its founding in 2009, Taiwan Social Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Society (TSEIES) , through academic researches and business consultation, endeavours to promote “ an enterprise that is with both operational capacity and social benefits/impacts.” By means of learning new concepts, transferring practical experience,fostering operation skills, cohesion of social resources, The Society assists the independence of the underprivileged groups, promotes social entrepreneurship, and provides new economic practices to reach its goal of social justice.
We are together with NPOs and business practitioners, in this cross-disciplinary body. The Society hopes to bring about the concept innovation and social mobility among the scholars in respective fields, promote researches in social enterprise, and cultivate professional/business managers in social enterprises. It is our vision that with our efforts, we may redirect the societal values of favoring large-scale industries and economic returns.We proactively face the demands of the vulnerables, promote micro-entrepreneurship,and integrate business profit generating with issues like ecological agriculture, vulnerables care, remote community development,
environment restoration, and wealth distribution, etc.

《Our Happiness and Our Economy》
Explored upon are nine inspirational cases of Taiwanese social enterprises. 《Social Enterprise Café》 Shared upon are nearly 20 touching social enterprise workshop lectures. 《Management for Social Enterprise》 This book provides an overview of the different perspectives on social enterprise development. Also discussed upon are how industrialization and capitalism have greatly affected our society. 《Meaningful Management》 Collection of Research Articles (3 volumes) Social entrepreneurship can help drive social change. Through the guidance of theory, students and practitioners can have a clearer view of social entrepreneurship related concepts. |
